I think movie trailers are one of the best ways in discovering new music or music in general. A trailer uses music to keep an audience focused for a period short enough to sell them on the visuals. The Social Network, a movie based on the creation of Facebook, uses this method perfectly. It grabs the audience’s attention by using a cover of Radiohead’s “Creep,” performed by a small Belgium choir and the two brothers who conduct and play the piano. They go by Scala & Kolachny Brothers. iTunes currently does not have the track for sale, but they have their previous album entitled, “Dans les yeux d’Aurore.” The album features covers of songs such as Radiohead’s “Fake Plastic Trees,” and Damien Rice’s “The Blower’s Daughter.” Check out the The Social Network trailer below.
