HBO Sunday Night: Hung End Credits Music

Sorry for being all over the place with the HBO Sunday Night line up. Next Sunday, I will make sure to post them all together. A friend reminded me to post the music from HBO’s Hung. For one, Hung has a great theme song (as do all of the HBO Sunday night lineup). The show’s Music Supervisor, Mark Wike, selected “I’ll be Your Man” by the Black Keys. Download on iTunes.

This past Sunday’s episode, “Sing it Again, Ray” or “Home Plate” uses the song “Bones” by Map of Africa in the end credits. A very classic rock ‘n’ roll flavor, reminds me of The Rolling Stones (love the piano). I can’t find much on the band at all, but check out the song below.

In one of the series of HBO “HUNG” during the credits a song was done by Louie Prima. Can you give me song title by Prima?

    Thanks

Are you sure the song was by Louie Prima and not someone else? Do you know what episode it was?

So I know that Louis Prima hasn’t been featured on Hung, but has been featured on two other HBO shows.

    1) “That Old Black Magic” Louis Prima and Keely Smith. Featured on Episode 2 of How to Make it in America.
    2) “Buena Sera Louis Prima. Featured in the first episode of Treme.
